I am continuing to feel better this month and only feel sick on occasion. I don't have much of an appetite most days, but am enjoying food a lot more now. :)
I had an appointment with my midwife today. The baby was moving around so much she had to constantly move the doppler around to hear the heart beat clearly. She said it sounded like the baby was doing gymnastics in there. Ha. Our active baby had a heartbeat in the 160s. According to the doctor's scale, I had lost a few more pounds, but with my appetite returning we suspect that won't be the case at the next appointment.
At this appointment, I got the go ahead to schedule the 20 week anatomy ultrasound. She said she prefers to have it done between 20-22 weeks, but told me I could wait a little longer if I wanted to. So the date of the ultrasound is still pending. We probably will be finding out Baby Wiggles' gender at this ultrasound, but I'm mostly just excited for Michael to see our little baby moving around on the screen for the first time. I can't wait to share this experience with him. :)
I might be feeling little baby flutters every now and then. I'm not able to say without a doubt that I am. So, we're just going to have to save that excitement for another week.
I'm starting to get a little bump, but it is hardly noticeable when I'm wearing my jeans and a loose-fitting top. So, by someone's definition I'm probably "showing", but I just don't feel like I am showing enough to warrant a photo yet. I can still button my jeans, but I've stopped because it isn't comfortable to button them anymore, especially if I'm sitting down. So instead of buttoning and unbuttoning them, depending on if I'm sitting or standing, I just use a hair elastic to keep them closed. Haha. It might be a little early to be doing this already, because my jeans start to fall down if I'm walking around, but it is better than wearing yoga pants everywhere to be comfortable. Although, I might be doing that in my future.
The Bump says that the baby is the size of an onion this week and has finger prints now!
