A Happy Homecoming...

Yesterday I got to spend a large part of the day with my friend Amanda and little Mason for their marine's homecoming. I happily accepted when she asked if I could take pictures for them. I'm a little embarrassed to say that small part of me was worried about what type of emotions would come up when my currently overly-emotional self watched someone else's marine come home, but I shouldn't have been. I woke up excited to head to base! I am so happy for them. I literally couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the day.

Getting to witness a family being reunited after a yearlong deployment isn't something you'll want to miss if you ever have the opportunity. 

 

And this little guy was only a few months old when his his daddy left:

It just melts my heart to know that he has his daddy back now!
