Twenty-One Weeks

I've been extra tired lately. I don't know if that is very new, I don't remember being this tired when I was still having morning sickness. Then again, I may have been too sick to notice. It feels like I'm getting kicked right below my ribs already...a little scary to be happening so soon! :)

I don't really have any gotta-have-this-right-now cravings. Although, I'm deeply missing those little teriyaki places that are everywhere in Washington. I found a somewhat similar place for take-out here, but it just doesn't compare.

I quickly took a couple pictures today. I wasn't really feeling it, but took some for the sake of documenting. I had just gotten up from a nap, I still have sleepy eyes. Can you tell? Ha.

I did have an appointment with an OB last week, instead of my midwife because I needed to follow up on some lab results. I really liked her.... I'm actually quite happy that I already know and like an OB that works with my midwife. I would be happy to have her as my primary provider if I needed to. She wasn't concerned about my labs at all, which is good. :) I'm healthy.

I was exactly 20 weeks & 1 day at the appointment, according to both my LMP and how the baby was measuring at my first ultrasound. I know without a doubt, that it is impossible for my due date to be set any sooner than it already is. However, my fundal height is measuring way ahead. This isn't an extremely accurate measurement, but you should be within two weeks. Want to know what I measured in at? 25 weeks. Five whole weeks ahead. More than a month.

I knew I was a little bit bigger than I was supposed to be; I had read that at twenty weeks your uterus should be about at your belly button. Mine has definitely been above my belly button for a while now. So, I feel huge. I'll be getting an ultrasound done soon. Hopefully it will shed some light on my large measurement.

My next normal check up isn't until I'm 23 weeks. If I still appear to be five weeks ahead at that point, I'll be measuring 28 weeks. It is crazy to think that I could be getting a third trimester measurement by the end of the month.
